Color change wraps
A colour change wrap covers the factory paint in vinyl, so the car looks like a different colour without being repainted. Matte, satin, gloss and metallic finishes are available, and because it is vinyl over paint, it comes off again when you want the original colour back.

Wrap instead of paint
A wrap is reversible: the original paint stays underneath, protected from stone chips and sun rather than sanded off. That matters on a leased car, where the factory colour has to come back at the end, and on a car you may sell, where the paint underneath is the one the next owner sees.
Finishes you cannot get from a paint shop
Matte, satin, colour-shift and textured films exist as vinyl in finishes that are difficult or expensive to reproduce in paint. Partial work is common too: roof, mirrors, hood or chrome delete, without touching the rest of the car.

Does a colour change wrap damage the paint?
No. The vinyl sits over the factory paint, which stays underneath and is shielded from stone chips and sun rather than sanded off. It is why a wrap suits a leased car, where the original colour has to come back at the end.
Can I wrap only part of the car?
Yes. Roof, mirrors, hood and chrome delete are common on their own, without touching the rest of the car. It is the same film and the same process, applied to fewer panels.
What finishes are available?
Matte, satin, gloss, metallic, colour-shift and textured films. Several of those are difficult or expensive to reproduce in paint, which is part of why people choose a wrap over a respray.
